Information
Terms and Conditions
Effective August 19, 2026
These terms apply when you use the Private Buddha website, contact us, or request a private dining reservation. By submitting a reservation request, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you accept these terms.
Reservations and payment
A date is not confirmed until Private Buddha has received and verified the required payment. A temporary payment hold does not constitute a confirmed reservation and expires after the period shown during checkout. If payment is not verified before the hold expires, the date may become available to other guests.
Menu and guest count
Each reservation includes one shared appetizer, one shared main course, and one shared dessert for the entire table. Guests may receive a listed vegetarian version of the selected dish. Prices are calculated per guest from the selected dishes and any extras. The final guest count and dietary requirements must be supplied accurately when booking.
Host responsibilities
The host must provide safe access to the service location and a clean, functional kitchen and dining setup suitable for the agreed number of guests. This includes working utilities and the cookware, utensils, tableware, glasses, table, and seating reasonably needed for the service.
Allergies and dietary requirements
You must disclose all allergies and dietary requirements before confirming the reservation. Private Buddha will take reasonable care, but a private home kitchen is not an allergen-free environment and complete protection against cross-contact cannot be guaranteed.
Service location and travel
You are responsible for providing an accurate address, map location, and access instructions. Any travel charge shown during booking forms part of the total price. Materially incorrect location information may result in an adjusted charge or cancellation if the service cannot reasonably be provided.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations made five calendar days or fewer before the scheduled event are non-refundable. A cancellation requested more than five calendar days before the event is eligible for a refund of the amount paid. Requests to change a date are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.
If Private Buddha must cancel the event, you may choose an available replacement date or receive a full refund of the amount paid. Private Buddha is not responsible for indirect costs arising from a cancellation.
Changes and delays
Changes to the menu, guest count, address, or timing require prior agreement and may change the price. Delays or conditions at the service location that materially affect safe preparation or service may shorten or prevent the service without creating a right to a refund.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, submit false information, or interfere with its operation. Website content, branding, photographs, and designs may not be reproduced commercially without permission.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Private Buddha’s total liability relating to a reservation will not exceed the amount paid for that reservation.
Contact and governing law
Questions, cancellations, and refund requests must be submitted through the contact page. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama, and any dispute is subject to the competent courts of Panama.
